Hey, I'm Jerome, a copywriter from Singapore who really likes ideas. Since first learning about the industry, I’ve been fascinated by how the best ideas are often so simple. Now, I love finding problems and solving them by connecting the dots, picking at the obvious, diving into the obscure, and flipping thoughts upside-down — all to uncover a simple idea that shines.
I've been lucky so far. Lucky enough to have been named Singapore's Copywriter of the Year in 2024, and to have done things I never thought possible in a job. Like, trashing a 5-star hotel, turning gamers into skin donors, creating a Netflix series, and chasing my CCO around with a live snake. (Sorry Nic!)
I began my journey hungry and curious. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate enough to see my work recognised at local and international award shows. But more importantly, I’ve had the privilege to work with incredible people from around the world, in sunny Singapore. They’ve shown me what it takes to make great work, and I’ve made it a point to try and follow their example. I'm currently freelancing in New Zealand to hone my craft, learn a little more about life, and think differently.
I’m still hungry. Still curious. And will always keep trying.
With the time saved not doing my timesheets, I make paper look cool, play an unhealthy amount of videogames, and am the most cat-obsessed cat-less person you'd ever meet.
